Guaranteed Uptime
The 5c SMS platform is built for scalability, resiliency and security. All production systems are run from Amazon Web Services (AWS) Sydney region and utilise multiple Availability Zones so critical services are concurrently running across multiple data centres. We also scale our capacity automatically to handle increased messaging volume. 99.99% uptime and processing credit is available for Business and Enterprise Plan customers.
Direct Routing
Unlike other SMS Providers, we do not route SMS traffic via overseas or mixed route providers. All 5c SMS messages are sent through direct connections to Australian mobile carriers.
We run all our servers and systems in Australia, so your data will never go overseas and is never shared with a third party.
Notifications and Auto-Recharge
To ensure you never run out of message credits, you can configure 5c SMS to email you when your balance is running low. You can also setup an Auto-Recharge for a specific amount to charge your credit card and immediately re-credit your account.

Platform Security
Security is our top priority. As such, our engineering process includes security reviews, testing and system hardening. All production systems are run from AWS. AWS complies with AICPA SysTrust, ISO 27001, GDPR and other leading security compliance regimes.
We never store your passwords in clear-text. Passwords and API Keys are hashed using a multi-round, salted blowfish hashing algorithm.
Credit Cards and Payments are stored and processed by our third-party processor, Stripe. Stripe is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1. This is the highest level of certification for credit card security available.

Linked Accounts
Link multiple accounts together to share a single credit balance and subscriptions or plans. When a linked account sends a message, credits are automatically deducted from the primary account. Each linked account maintains its own message history and reporting, while billing is centralised for simplified account management.
User Management
Add multiple users to your account with role-based permissions. Assign users as administrators, managers, senders, or reporting-only to control access to features. Users can also access multiple accounts from a single login, making it easy for teams and organisations to manage several clients or departments.
